As Kairos Inside grows, it becomes clear that incarceration impacts entire families, not just those behind bars. In response, Kairos Outside is established to minister to the women affected by a loved one’s incarceration, offering them healing, community, and hope. The first Kairos Outside Weekend took place in 1990.
